Just to check: are you saying every time the Bible uses the term soteria, it always means regeneration? As the bible knows ONLY one salvation, that of sinners who have been regenerated/reborn from above, and thus now saved of the lord!

Salvation is a broad term in scripture, encompassing a great many aspects of Christ's redemptive work. And not all of His work relates to who gets to go to heaven. For instance:
Many will not be saved, because they do not believe in Christ.
Everyone will be saved, even those who have no faith in Christ.
Only some Christians will be saved.
Every Christian will be saved.
We are saved through faith, without works.
We are saved through baptism.
We are saved through enduring to the end
If that confuses you, it's because you don't understand the breadth of salvation. Context is key.
Like many of Yeshua1's posts, it is irrational, illogical, silly and mistaken.
Words have meanings. God chose the words of scripture, He inspired them and uses them to present His message. When we scramble the meanings of words, saying this means that and that means this, we obliterate God's word.
Salvation includes a subset of things. What are we saved from? What are we justified from? What penalty of sin is removed when we are forgiven?
Nothing based on Bible study will be forthcoming.
Is there any difference from being regenerated, being quickened, being made alive, being born anew? If before we were saved, we were spiritually dead, then when we are saved we are made alive together with Christ, what is being said. Is it not that before we were united with Christ we were spiritually dead, separated from God, but when God put us spiritually in Christ, we were no longer separated from Christ, thus made alive together with Christ.
Just to check: are you saying every time the Bible uses the term soteria, it always means regeneration?
And is spiritual salvation really equal to regeneration? Or is that just one of the terms under the umbrella of salvific terms?
You didn't answer my first question.just saying that when God saves a sinner, he appioes the entire 'salvation package" towards them, so they will get regenerated, receive jesus thru faith, be reborn etc as when God starts to savem he makes sure that ALL of it happen to His chosen elect in Christ!
You didn't answer my first question.
In your OP, you say "the Bible only knows one salvation." Am I to assume then that whenever the word "salvation" or soteria is used, context be damned, I can bank on it meaning the "one salvation" that "the Bible... knows"?
I just want you to clarify yourself is all.
Still not answering the question, dude.salavtion in the NT refers to a sinner being changed by act of god, being reborn from above, and eternally saved and secured in Christ!
Still not answering the question, dude.
Let me rephrase. Is the Greek word for "salvation" ever used in a way that doesn't refer to "a sinner being changed by act of god, being reborn from above, and eternally saved and secured in Christ"???
For example, does the Greek word translated salvation (soteria) ever mean physical deliverance from an illness or something similar?
Have you not made an overstatement and thus need to amend yourself???
regenerated does NOT happen apart from the will and work of god towards His elect, but neither does it just happen by itself!
God regenerates, person now can and does place faith in jesus, and salvation occurs!
Then I am really confused. Not a statement, but meant as a question!
The contagium of confusion... sounds like a theology I knowHeheh, careful GT, it starts rubbing off on you.....
