BTW Van I covet your thoughts relative to the following and the biological line.
Gen 49:10 NIV The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet,[fn] until he to whom it belongs[fn] shall come and the obedience of the nations shall be his.
Is Shiloh Christ and does the obedience of the nations take place at the first coming or the second coming? Is Acts 15:16,17 relevant to the obedience of the nations?
Relative to the biological lines of Matt and Luke how does the following fit? Jer 22:30 Thus saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah.
Now I believe Matt is the scepter, the kingship, the throne, line, yet we have that said by the LORD in Jer 22.
Consider also Luke 1:32,33 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
In the scepter line Matt why are both Phares and Zara, listed? Zara who put his hand out first and they tied the red thread on it and said, this came out first, yet drew back his hand and a breach took place, Phares was born unto David the king whose throne the Lord God was going to give the offspring of Mary.
Is Acts 15:16 relative to Amos 9:11 to Jer 22:30 to Matt 1:3 to Gen 49:10 to Gen 38:28-30
