Problem existed long before this. I am sure the number has increased (just a guess as perversion comes from perverted minds). But 1 case is too many and there were thousands prior to the public fall of the organization.

a few months ago, they were running here ads non-stop to join the lawsuit if you had been a victim, decades ago even. Never a scout but I'm sure this happened a lot before Hagel took over the Scouts and let gay adult men go camping with boys. They are now supporting BLM and even have a "diversity and inclusion" badge. Another American institution ruined by the left.
