If the late night comics and the S.N.L. producers would just think about it, impersonating these congressional Dems would elicit more chuckles, guffaws, and knee slapping than their continuous mocking of the best U.S. president in my lifetime. These guys are some serious goof balls.

Speaking of late night comics, did you ever notice how David Letterman was still telling George Bush jokes long after he was gone. His comedy was so bad toward the end that he was getting courtesy applause instead of laughs.

I couldn't believe this skit was as good as it was:

even better and more recent:

"Planning" is much too strong a word for him calling more witnesses. Sounds more like Schiff says he's contemplating the possibility.

What's certain is that Schiff is plotting and scheming, aka conspiring, with "colleagues" before making the next move, and that the Dems have not even come close to making a case for impeachment.

Many Dems rightly believe that if they go ahead with impeachment, it'll blow up in their faces.

Yes, they hit home enough to make one wonder what the Dems' next step is. "Media mogul" Bloomberg is putting his billions to work now by formally entering the field, but some speculate that it's just so he can use massive amounts of money to more directly sway opinion toward the Dems.
