Reply: Some Christian Apologists Fail the Test

Someone replied to my first post that I failed to cite evidence. Not being familiar with forums, posts, replies, etc. It appears I have assumed too much from my readers. My closing remark: "An examination of the lives of these men readily supports my views pertaining to their shortcomings in regard to their credibility as it relates to the Word of God." Here I am instructing my readers to take it upon themselves to examine the lives(biographical) of these men to decide for themselves whether my thesis is credible. What I did in my first post was only an exposition--an eye opener so-to-speak. I'm assuming that once you evaluate the backgrounds of these men and how it evolved into their theology, you may find my thesis has some merit.

George,

Do not be dismayed. It takes a bit for the nuances of the BB to be acquired.

Take the suggestions you receive and most of all this is a place to enjoy the interaction and learn - even if it is a bit uncomfortable from time to time.

At least you will get contact from those of opposing views that one may not get from members of the local assembly in which they associate.

No your postion is not credible. None of the men cited can be considered orthodox, evangelical Christians.
