That is false. One of the serious problems within the Church has been that some become educated to the point they think they are smarter than God. Case in point is Bishop Pike who died in Israel looking for the historical Jesus.

None of those men you mentioned are responsible for as many deaths as those in this country who support the continued slaughter of the unborn child, 55,000,000 and increasing at the rate of ~3500 each day.
