Good news is that my church used one of my ideas for their Wednesday night study and it will be a Jerry Bridges book on sins. Just reading the preface last night no question a very gifted communicator and unlike many he does not just preach books and transcribe them, he actually takes the time to write his books and have them carefully edited. No question among the best in the Christian living genre. Another reason to respect Bridges is he knows what he is gifted in and does not dive often into other fields of theology he is not gifted in and so his books all are in the practical theology genre. Some authors think of themselves as the experts in all fields in theology (when they are not) and so publish books in every subject (when they should not). If you have not read Bridges I encourage you to do so for it might change you, as I hope this book does too me. Too many pointless Cal vs. Armin debates around here, and perhaps even debates on evangelism methodology is another pointless one as it may be obvious to all that not everyone is called to be a street evangelist.

Tip, give a link to the book on amazon. Here it is.
