RICH AND POOR
James 5.1-6In these verses James very harshly condemns the rich for their power by which they abuse others. To be rich is not a sin, many our Patriarchs of Faith were rich in material wealth, starting from Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Job, David, Solomon, and others. But a person became a sinner when he or she attached their soul to their wealth and dedicated his/her life for it, this is a sin.
Many rich rely on their wealth but not on GOD, and because of it they are condemned. The Day will come then their wealth will not save them and this will be the worse Day of their life. they will perish together with their wealth. Wealth brings also power and many wealthy people abuse it in order to get their way and get even more richer. Wealthy people often commit injustice because they have wealth and many resources with it to do it.
James shortly mentioned some of these evil things committed by rich people giving by this to us one important lesson that the wealth is temporary, and so will be the life of those who attaches themselves to their temporary riches. The Eternal Life based on the Wealth of Spirituality, which is everlasting, but material temporary physical wealth based on the temporary physical life of decay and death.
For this reason, we must remember the words of Christ Who said that we should collect Spiritual Wealth of Love, Faith, Mercy, Compassion, Forgiveness, proven by the Good Deeds in the Name of Christ. With this package of Spiritual Wealth of Spiritual Goodness, we will appear before Almighty in the Day of His Judgment.
Our physical bodies will rot with their wealth and never will come to life again, unless they resurrected for the Day of Judgement. We shall be wise how we use our material wealth and shall use for good and not for evil. Above all, rich and poor have something in common.
Proverbs 22.2
2. "The rich and the poor have this in common; the Lord is the Maker of them all."
This also means that whoever despise and abuse the poor despise and abuse his/her Maker! (Proverbs 14.21.31, 17.5).

PRAYER IN THE CHURCH
James 5.13-18
Where is the miracles in the church? Why no longer some churches pray for sick and we see no healings? Perhaps because there is no Holy Spirit in the church that would hear and act. In order to be heard by GOD and to receive His help and blessing, people surely must deserve of what they are asking from GOD.
Everything in GOD'S Commandments and His Statutes is conditional and obeying and fulfilling conditions of GOD we invoke GOD to act on our behalf, and He always does it.
Corruption of the church started long ago, right after ascendance of Christ to Heaven, and while some churches and Christian community still hold to the Principals and Ideals of Christ and obey them, majority of the churches separated from one another causing divisions, partitions, and splitting up on many denominations, losing their unity and integrity as a Body of Christ.
This perhaps the main reason why in our churches no longer present the Holy Spirit of the Lord, and we do not see any more miracles. Every church has it own dogmas, doctrines, and traditions, none of which is compatible with GOD'S Statutes and Commandments but mostly dominate in churched "Prosperity Gospel of Greed" and "Guarantied Salvation Gospel" to please the listeners (2Timothy 4.3-4) (Isaiah 30.10).
Evidently, under such conditions no Holy Spirit will be present in such church, and prayers will not be heard, and miracles will not be performed. So, these words of James remind us how the real church of Christ shall be functioning and perform their duties according to the Word of GOD passed to us through His holy men like James and the Son of GOD Jesus Christ.
CONVERT A SINNER TO CHRIST AND BY THIS REMOVE THE MULTITUDE OF SINS
James 5.19-20
These is quite amazing verses and reflect the truth about our involvement in salvation of others and removing multitude of our own sins. Reading carefully these verses it seems that here we can see two meanings.
The first meaning may relate to a sinner who was converted to Christ. Whoever is a sinner, a former Christian or a new convert, his/her soul will be saved by conversion to Christ and will cover multitude of his/her sins. So, very much all of it relate to a converted sinner.
The second meaning may relate to a person who converted a sinner to Christ. This person who converted a sinner to Christ will be saved from eternal condemnation and will cover multitude of his/her own sins.
In either way the meaning is one, that a converted sinner and one who converted him/her to Christ will be saved from death and will cover multitude of own sins.
Indeed, this is probably the most honorable and desirable Good Deeds in the Name of Christ any Christian could do, and reward for such Good Work is beyond all we can imagine, which covers our sins and lead to possession of Eternal Life with GOD. Who could ask for more!?
