We have at least two who bought the book Your Best Life Now with The Purpose Driven Life thrown in. How could they be wrong after spending 12.99? :wavey:
This is just plain silly talk.

Honestly, I don't judge on hearsay but need to see the original posting from Pastor Warren. I went through his Facebook page through to the beginning of May and couldn't find it at all. Does it really exist?
This is just plain silly talk.
Make that 4.
I've never read either book. That makes you one unjust judge.
One need not read the books to be of the same conclusions as the rest.
I'm with you Lucas, but look at his top three. Osteen, himself and TD Jakes. WOW, I used to think Warren was a deceived and misguided Baptist pastor, now I think he is dabbling into heresy if he can endorse you and me to listen to Osteen and Jakes for doctrine.
I would think for myself and not get my "knickers in a knot" one way or the other.
They were ranked by order of twitter followers, not his personal 100Well..
Olsten apostle of Robert Schuller school of self esteem/Norman pelle positive thinking, NOT a biblical message
Jakes did hold to Modulism, charasmatic stuff, again not biblical
IF those are his top 2 choices?

That isn't what the article states, although I would think that.
Take a look at who Rick Warren is recommending these days:

I would love to hear your comments on this list, especially those at the very top.
The article doesn't say it but what angle are they coming from? Remember that we're reading through an interpreter - because we can't find the original posting. So we need to take it with a grain of salt!
Yes. One thinks 'for himself' (in other words makes all truth herein subjective to his own authority and 'nary a claim of God's authority) therefore his knickers remain loose.
Yes, this is so authoritative!
'My knickers are loose, therefore I am -- authoritative'!!!!!!
Otherwise 'Objective truth outside my own person is so tight and restraining!!!!'
A staffer could have posted it too. Maybe hr saw it and wanted it removed. Why when speculating must he never get the benefit of the doubt? Your disdain for the man is unhealthy.I read somewhere where RW posted the list then removed it from Pastors.com. I always get sqwirmy when people post stuff then remove it. Kinda of like our Govt lately.
