No, for whatever does not proceed from faith is sin.
Wow. Talk about context lifting...

The act of an unregenerate man NOT raping his daughter is sin? Each time a reprobate person doesn't murder someone, it's sin?

Though an unregenerate man may avoid such heinous acts that you describe above, he is still nonetheless sinning every moment he does not repent and put his faith in Christ alone to save him from his sins.

Further, an unregenerate man may resist certain temptations (like raping someone), but even in his resistance he fails to glorify God (as He truly is) and glories in his own work of "doing good". So even in his victory over one sin, he commits another.

Scripture for this? Sinning is the breaking of God's law. Just existing is not sin, even for the reprobate. The reprobate will die in his sins (what he has commited), but his existence alone is not sin.

The unrepentant, unregenerate man breaks the 1st commandment (no other Gods) and the 2nd commandment (no idols) continually, as well as the two greatest commandments taught by Jesus in the N.T.

I'm not sure what you are getting at, but you seem to think that sins are only outward acts. Is that what you believe? You don't think a person can sin in their heart? And a person who has not believed in their heart that Christ is their Savior, then their heart remains in continual sin. What is your problem with that?

Yep, that's right.

Hey , in Proverbs 21:4 it says that the plowing of the wicked is a sin . ( KJV )

What appear as neutral acts , or even virtuous ones are considered sinful according to God's perspective . If people are motivated to do anything without regard to doing it to God's glory -- it's a wicked act .

Can an unregenerate man, of his own energy of will and volition, do anything which would be accounted by God as 'righteous' or even 'good'? Please support either way.

No.........

God has to draw the man to salvation.

God has to convict the man of sin...

God has to give the man godly sorrow to repent.

God saves by GRACE....Eph. 2:8-9, Titus 3:5

Abraham believed and it was accounted to him as righteousness...

Did Abraham believe on his own?...no

God gave Abraham the heart and faith to believe...

To drive home this point try this exercise of your own energy of will and volition, and attempt to do anything which would be accounted by God as 'righteous' or even 'good'.

The exercise...

Try to think a good thought.............

You see you could not even do that LITTLE thing on your own energy, will, and volition....Doing something that could be accounted as "righteous" is far greater then thinking a good thought, and since we can't even do a LITTLE thing, how can we expect to do anything that God would account as "righteous"?

One thing and one thing only -- "BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." That is the invitation -- the call -- the "marriage proposal" -- the gospel -- the promise of God -- God's "signature" on the new covenant testament.

It goes out to everyone indiscriminantly and unrestrictedly. It is the "condition" of receiving that we accept it. Glory to God for His wonderful Gift!!
