How lucky you are to be one of the Elect.
If one is Gods elect its a blessing of Gods Grace, has nothing to do with luck, why would you say that ? Ps 65:4

4 Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple

Ps 33:12

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

I've already shown you that God can call and man can refuse.

God chooses those who choose Him, the ones that accept the call.

What you can't understand, or won't understand, not sure on that, is that IF man accepts the call of God to salvation, then he is chosen by God to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit.

The emphasis is on the being chosen to the "sanctification of the Spirit."

Yes, I know your God created man to save some and left the rest to self destruction by His decree.

He just chooses not to enlighten them the way He did for you,

How lucky you are to be one of the Elect.
Well, it’s disgraceful to say “your God” as if we believe in a different God.

The foundation for every belief is upon scripture. You have no answer for the truth of God’s Word so you lash out with sarcastic insults.

Romans 9 to 11 addresses your complaint directly.

Luck has nothing to do with being “elect”. It has everything to do with the goodness and mercy of God, the kind intention of His will.

Peace to you

No, let's get this straight right now, no misunderstanding!

Your God is not the God I know and serve by your own definition!

God has called all to repentance and all have rejected.

If God chooses people based on what they do (those that chose Him), then you have a works based salvation where God responds to what the man does and then chooses them for salvation.

Scripture reveals God chooses us while we are still rejecting Him, from the kind intention of His will, through the power of God Holy Spirit and we respond to God’s work in our lives with faith in Jesus..

That is grace based salvation

Peace to you

Are you claiming I am not saved because I worship a different God than you do?

Just state your belief plainly if you that’s what you think!!!

I do not believe we worship a different God. We just view scripture differently.

Peace to you

@Brightfame52

God already knows from before the foundation of the world who will be saved.

He calls, you accept of your own free will, and you have already been predestined to salvation through the sanctification of the Spirit.

Follow the commands of Jesus. Let your “yes” be “yes” and let your “no” be “no”.

Do you believe I am not saved?

Do you believe I worship a false God because I believe scripture teaches the doctrines of grace?

If you don’t have the guts to speak plainly then just stop replying to my posts.

Peace to you

I like the last sentence. That one works for me.

Of course He does. He chose them to be saved, duh and He knows already who shall be lost, He chose them to be lost. Before the lost was created by God, God knew they would live a life of sin and end up in hell for their sins, yet He created them anyway.

So you would know I 'm longer responding to your posts.

I'll eventually get around to all the Calvinists, and we can be one big happy family.
You seem to be a very angry man. We are discussing God’s Word and instead of attempting to understand a different point of view you become insulting and sarcastic and insinuate I worship a different God because we disagree.

It is very sad to see a professing Christian engage in such behavior.

Peace to you

That's a sad thing to read in someone's post. "He chose them to be lost."

But it is what it is.
