Mitt Romney's national lead over President Obama grew even more Thursday, with the latest Gallup survey showing the Republican nominee up 7 points -- as polling in the battlegrounds indicates the electoral map may be shifting in Romney's favor.

In a significant development, the RealClearPolitics electoral map, which offers predictions of which states favor which candidates, for the first time is showing Romney ahead in terms of electoral votes he is likely to win on Nov. 6.

But the Rasmussen daily tracking only has a 2-point Romney lead nationally. However, Rasmussen also has Romney up in Ohio 50-48 - the first time Romney has hit 50% in Ohio. Great news there. But the polls are all over the place right now - mainly due to the unknown of which voters will actually turn out. And don't discount the Dems ability at voter fraud with all the early voting, which allows them to bring bus loads of ineligible voters to vote for more free stuff.

According to what CTB posted the other day, the Repubs need to concern themselves with their own attempts at voter fraud.

CTB- You and I are at opposite ends of the political spectrum, but I admire your honesty and your civility; so it pains me to ask, do you realize how whiny this post sounds?
