Well, he HAS been treated shabbily; what do you expect? Or, it could be he jumped into something he wasn't ready for; as they say, "if you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch."...NOT directing that at him, but sometimes folks on here tend to come across too strong to newbies. It would've scared me to death, if the ones (most who are gone) who were here when I joined, had treated me in such a way as he's been done. It also could be, he had other things to do & will come back.

But on another matter: It's true we don't know a person's heart, but we know them by their actions (fruits) & we can judge that & even reject (Titus 3:10). Not only did Jesus call names in the Bible...I think some of the apostles did, as shown above by Paul, "whited wall".

You folks refer to Ruckman as if he were the measure to decide whether or not the KJVO issue is valid or not. The pope prays, should I stop praying? Absolutly not. I mis-spell words, does that mean I'm wrong, that's absurd. Because the pope prays, and prayer is good, does that validate the VATICANus, give me a break!!!

Granny Dr Ruckman is neither prophet or apostle or the Lord.

Here is an Apostles advice to one of his students:

Have you ever read Ruckman's commentary on this? He says it was as if Christ was saying today's modern word for (old slang word for "Negro;" not politically correct any more), or also for female dog (but Ruckman uses the slang word for this in his book!). Look in his commentary on Matthew, p. 276.

In this respect Ruckman is right. That IS the equivalent to todays speach.

I don't always agree with Doc. But on this one quoted by Spoudazo, I do agree. That IS the severity and deragatory nature of the word Christ used.
