Rush Limbaugh has died

Frankly, I considered him clownish but that’s in the rear view mirror now.
He would've had more class than to call you clownish if you, or anyone else had just died, he always welcomed leftist callers, & I never heard him disparage them, but that’s in the rear view mirror now. Rush was the best. The top. He left a great legacy. His books are a great teaching tool for our grandchildren to learn our county’s history. Don’t share your judgement on this thread. You diminish yourself in doing so.

Hope that it is true that he trusted in Jesus for his personal Saviour

Sorry to hear that Rush Limbaugh is dead... I wonder if some of his younger brother David rubbed off on Rush... Ya think?... I have four books written by the younger Christian Brother... Jesus On Trial, The Emmaus Code, The True Jesus and Jesus Is Risen... I recommend all four... Brother Glen:)

Rush Limbaugh’s wife just announced on the radio that he has died from lung cancer.

He had a profound influence on the way I looked at politics and the media.

A great void for conservative thought.

peace to you
Now is the time for president Trump to buy out Rush radio network, as just the platform of 600 stations and over 27 million listeners to spread his viewpoints!

As long as they keep Todd Herman, Ken Matthews, and Mark Stein on the air!

Maybe??? Rush would probably be the first to say radio and TV are so very different that it’s very difficult to cross over. Trump probably couldn’t be the host.

Mark Stein is great. I really enjoy his humor.

I’m reminded of when Paul Harvey passed and no one could pick up where he left off, not even his son who sounded like him.

One of a kind.

peace to you

Could be that Paul Jr had no interest.

This is not true. Last year one on of his shows he came out and directly said he knows that he will be in Heaven because he has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and trusted Him for his salvation.

Depending on what it was about, some would consider being condemned by the UMC a great honor!

Thanks for the info -I was not aware of that.
I do like Rush- but normally did not listen to him.

Yes, that’s possible, though I did hear him a few times take his father’s spot on the radio.

He could have already made his own life apart from radio,

Rush had no children that I know of.

peace to you

Let me explain

When I am in my vehicle, I have the radio on
I used to drive taxi - so Iistened quite often.

I no longer drive a vehicle as much as used to.
thus, I do not listen as much as I used to.

Do think that the Trumpster though would be entertaining, and could use this platform to get his voice out, and Twitter and Facebook would not be able to censure him!

If anyone could make the transition, Trump could, and he would interesting and entertaining.

I simply doubt he would be willing to put the amount of time in that would be needed for a daily show.

Peace to you

He just might look at this as his way to create His own party and platform though!
