Russia & Iran threaten 'REAL WAR': Putin WILL retaliate if Trump ‘crosses red line' again

Well, the Obama "red line" threat was made towards America by Russia and Iran if there is any further aggression.

Do we really need to fear as these two countries clang their swords together? Should Trump cower to this ramped up threat if Syria uses chemical weapons on his own people again?

What do you think? Will Iran and mother Russia enter a real war with America? I would love to hear your thoughts on this, as it could be the beginning of a game of chicken, to see who will in fact "blink" if more action is needed to show Syria that they just can't gas people, ever, EVER again. This response coming from the aggressor who took over Crimea and is camped out on Ukraines border waiting to over run that nation too!

What a bunch of hypocrites. If I were Trump, knowing that Obama was extremely wrong regarding chemical weapons in Syria, I'd immediately VOID that Iran deal, and put them back on sanctions. It looks like we are back to the cold war days of the sixties and seventies. It should be interesting to say the least.

Maranatha, come Lord Jesus, come!

The Iran Nuclear Deal should not have happened.

I read (sorry, don't remember where) that Iran threatened Obama with pulling out of negotiations for this deal if he were to bomb Syria. If so, that is extremely concerning.

I am sure Putin is quaking in his boots and had to bite his tongue HARD to even mention "war" and "America" in the same breath.

His biggest fear: What war toys do the Americans have that he doesn't know about.

His fear will grow as President Trump builds up our war machine and weaponry research especially as Russia's economy continues to tank

However Putin will retaliate at the inevitable American response to the next challenge Assad will issue.

OTOH Putin is a smart man and may very well cut off relations with Syria (It is possible, after all the Russians are also considered "infidels").

I wish it were just a clanging of swords.

I like Trump but am shocked about his firing 59 scuds into SovereinSyria. I haven't written Trump off, I believe he was deceived by the NWO demonrats.

There is good reason to believe, from reputable & experienced Middle East commentators that Syria did not drop chemical bombs, but hit an ISIS stockpile of chemical weapons.

The whole 15 year war of destruction of the ME countries was based on false information & hubris. Nobody has won, & none of those "we" sought to bring democracy to have benefited.

Is Syria the enemy - of whom???
Is ISIS the enemy "we" should be fighting???
Should "we" be fighting both Syria & ISIS???
Or staying out of a confused situation???

Trump had the cash to send in $70M worth of missiles. That surely could have been used constructively. African countries are desperate for food aid.

EVERYBODY loses a nuclear war. The Japanese power station destroyed by earthquake is poisoning the Pacific ocean.

Uh, Scuds are old Soviet era missiles now in the Russian armory. Assad has threatened to rain Scuds on Israel if attacks on Syria continue.

The missiles fired by US forces on the Syrian air base were Tomahawks.

Mr. Cassidy, could you please give me some evidence showing Putin's threat to rain scuds on Israel?

TEL AVIV – The Assad regime in Syria has sent messages to Israel via Russia threatening that any further strikes by the Israeli military within Syria’s borders will be met with Scud missiles attacks on the Jewish state, the Lebanese newspaper Al-Diyar reported Saturday.

Syria warned that Israeli strikes on its military would result in Scud missiles capable of carrying half a ton of explosives being launched at IDF bases, while strikes in civilian areas would be met with counterstrikes on the northern coastal city of Haifa and petrochemical plants in the region, the report claimed.

Hank, I sure hope that is true. :)

The 15 nation Soviet Union Empire ended in 1992. Mother Russia is in big economic trouble, the Ruble has almost shriveled on the vine. More and more the international scene is turning against Putin.

It was announced a bit ago that Russia knew in advance that the gas attack in Syria was going to happen.
If true more bad press for Russia.

In the event of WWIII the coalition of American allies would be overwhelming for Russia and they will lose.

Russia is a nation of intrepid peoples and still a powerful nation, the fight would be fierce and possibly a thermo-nuclear war in which case millions could perish.

Personally IMO war is inevitable unless there is divine intervention.

I have read this, but not from anyone I would regard as reliable. It seems more than a bit unlikely to me.

Sad to say, you are absolutely right here.

I agree with your point on people needing food. However, until we help ALL Americans first, no money should be sent to Africa, or any other nation. The church is who should be sending money to the impoverished nations. Our tax money should be spent to eliminate the "skid rows" and ghettos! Until we take care of our own, no money should be diverted anywhere else. IMHO!

As the song goes:
There's always money for war
but never enough for the poor.

The western "democracies" got rich by exploiting the third world, the slave trade, appropriation of resources, cheap local labour, etc.

We're still exploiting them by buy goods cheap & selling them dear. Our own manufacturing industries can never compete against cheap foreign labour.

Real help would make the nations we give aid to (often in the form of loans for armaments, & non-accountable support for the rich) should actually be to support the common people to make them self sufficient.

Wells, mini-loans to women for smallholdings, market gardens & market stalls, sewing machines, mosquito nets, etc. Planting trees to stop erosion, encouraging local industry, etc.

But they won't need to be exploited - & won't need a revolution & we needn't fear terrorism if we take a positive approach....

In case you didn't realize it, brother, while you have a poijt or two worthy on note; your generation as well as mine, are not directly or indirectly responsible for slavery in America. Nor are we responsible for the seclusion of the Japanese families in WWII.

And, unless I misunderstood, the leaders of this nation have more than apologized for the wrong inflicted upon the people of those unfortunate events in history, and even made financial payment to decsendnts of the families of the injured parties.

As for me,.I feel no guilt, only concern to make sure that the unemployed, underemployed and homeless of my generation are cared for, and able to LEARN TO FISH for their betterment in days ahead.

If you desire to carry the baggage of those wronged generations ago, so be it. You may be a better man than me, still, I believe the time for guilt has come and gone, and it is a new day and age, and a whole new boatload of problems that deserve my full attention.

Grace to you, brother!
