Information is out there, because of the things he said and taught, in the public record.
And people are going to understand that and compare it with Christian doctrines, and they are going to make some conclusions.

Baloney you guys dont like him because he held positions and spoke out against calvinism. Anyone who does that must be destroyed.

Please clarify who you mean by "you guys". I have no personal dislike for Ravi Zacharias. The main knowledge I had of him was hearing him on the radio. I was very impressed with his ability to answer quickly and very well the (often) evolutionary and non-Christian questions that were asked of him. It was a gift I don't have and could easily covet.

However, I do believe he took a wrong turn and that there is valid evidence of it. On the other hand, I think there is a false attempt to portray the women involved as innocent.

Finally, the primary motivator for my placing this here on the BB was the hypocrisy I perceived at SBC Voices, and to see what folks here would say. I started to make a comment there and thought better of it. Here, at least, there is a wide variety of opinion that gives food for thought.

Those who call him an ecumenist and a false teacher.

SBC Voices are constantly hypocritical. By the way they do not like those kind of comments over there. Its not likely they would even allow them to be published. They are an angry bunch.

I liked him fine. I won't be divesting myself of his books and recordings any time soon.
RZIM has done much more than just what Ravi accomplished, which was considerable. They have many very godly people that have done some wonderful ministering around the world. That the personal failure of the founder now deceased will negatively affect some of that is more than a little disappointing.

It might be worth considering disbanding under the RZIM name and regrouping under another, but there will be an additional grieving process first regardless.

Perhaps everyone responsible for ministry should seriously reflect on what being sent out two by two meant and what it should mean now.

Found 2 videos, these women even though victims were players, they had culpability along with Ravi.
I dont care for how they use their past as excuses for what they did.
And money was paid out by Ravi from what I read in arbitration.
Women victim telling her story of abuse.

Ravi pressuring a women to get an abortion?

A Lebanese proverb says: "When a cow falls, the slaughterers increase".
May God save any preacher that falls or is accused of falling, from some of your merciless mouths.
Only men who are too sure of their superior spirituality can be that judgmental of something they know so little about.

His own organization has disavowed Ravi for what he did, some who were close to him calling him unregenerate.
This forum thread is for people to make comments and observations from what we can read that has been said by people who were close to the man.
I see nothing evil in exposing evil and dark secret things.
Ephesians 5:11
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.

Expose them to the light.

Luke 8:17

For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light.
