Satan's stragegy to discredit the Bible.

The KJV translators brought many things along with the original 1611 edition.
The Apocrypha with cross references to it.
Marginal notes concerning questionable words.
Saints days, holy days, liturgical readings and other Anglican trappings.

And the blessing of King James and the Church of England.

Which Church persecuted Baptists and jailed John Bunyan for 12 years (the father of 5 children, one of them handicapped) for practicing believers baptism.

Satan has many devices, one of which is "divide and conquer." It's unfortunate that the KJVO movement has divided Bible-believing Christians over a non-existent doctrine which the KJVO's call "preservation"--meaning preserving God's original statements in English. Did God preserve them in Spanish? Or in French? Or in Chinese? If so, what are the "inspired" versions in those languages? Or is God basically Anglo-Saxon, so that English is His only concern?

I'll stick with the languages God chose to use (Hebrew and Greek) as the best representation of His original statements. And I'll continue using my KJV--but always scrutinizing the translation, as I would any other.
