Racism is a system that gives one race privileges over another race and therefore exacts injustice upon a person based solely upon the color of ones skin.I asked you what your definition of racism is - (unless I missed it) you have not answered my question.
So enlighten us - what is true racism.
Apartheid is a perfect example of racism. Jim Crowe is another. Red lining is another. Stopping a black man just because he's black is another.
Racism has been the system in the United States since its founding. It finds its way into many areas of our society.
A friend of mine is a black woman. She and her husband were providing foster care for a white adolescent. When the child got sick, she brought him in to the clinic. The receptionist accused her of trying to scam the system and demanded many extra documents from her that she did not demand from a white woman who also was bringing in a sick child. These little things happen everyday to black men and women, even though they are Godly people. That's racism...and we have to deal with it in the USA instead of scoffing at it and denying it exists...like many here are doing.
