And I don't know how you can miss the fact that God has commanded us - in the Old Testament Law, in the Prophets, and through Jesus and the New Testament writers - that we should have compassion upon those who are strangers in the land and we should love our neighbor as ourselves. If you don't get that, I can't help you understand the rest.

True. However, Romans 13 also clearly commands us to respect the laws of our government. Those who willfully choose to violate our laws and come to the United States "illegally" need to be held accountable to ensure that rule of law is maintained.

Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.

Indeed. Now lets look to the Bible to see how that compassion looks. Immigrants to Israel were required to adopt the Mosaic Law and if they did not, they were deported.

Also, large groups, back in that day, could not just come into Israel and settle. If they did, it would be considered an invasion and they would have been met by God's Israeli army who had a lot of wins racked up.

I'm all for Biblical immigration policies. I have a feeling you are not.
