Yes individuals, by there actions, can forfeit rights given to citizens in general. People who have demonstrated they are a hazard to others can forfeit their right of association, i.e restraining order, and their right to possess firearms and other weapons such as a hunting bow.

But just because a person has been given a "restraining order" does not allow the government to deny their possession and carry rights. Otherwise, the government could simply issue "restraining orders" for the gun owning people. :)

Read the Second Amendment and realize gun laws are unconstitutional.

2nd step—quickly execute anyone who commits murder.

Gun problem solved.
