Hannity Golf.JPG

Trump is out golfing today after ordering military action against Syria.

This tweet by Sean Hannity is from September, 2013.

But it could be tweeted again today, if only Hannity wasn't a hypocrite.

Where was Obama while Americans were dying in Benghazi, again? MIA No one really knows.

Better questions would be:
where was FDR on D-Day?
where was Lincoln during the Battle of Gettysburg, Antietam, or First\Second Bull Run?

Not the same. They had generals with the authority to make decisions and direct the battles.

When Obama was MIA , no one was there, apparently, to make a decision. Or they were all afraid to. So the worst af all scenarios took place, nothing was done.

That didn't happen in any of your examples.

Where was he? No one knows...or has said. Including him.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I should have quoted the proper post. I was referring to Trump, not Obama. That's what I get for being so terse.

Where was Trump the night of the Yemen raid?

Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

Doesn't matter. It was already planned and in the hands of the military. He couldn't execute it or change the outcome.

Obama could have changed the outcome of Benghazi. He was MIA.

I don't see what is so terrible about Hannity criticizing Obama after he ordered an attack and this - Hannity doesn't even pretend to be an objective reporter, expecting Sean to treat these two equally is as likely as expecting Rachel Maddow to be consistent and fair.

Hannity did comment on the old tweet on his twitter feed:

Sean Hannity‏Verified account @seanhannity
Alt left distorts meaning of my tweet in 2013. http://www.adweek.com/tvnewser/why-a-2013-sean-hannity-tweet-is-making-the-rounds-today/325998 … The point was clear--he is arrogant, lazy, & his threats meaningless

Hannity is just Hannity, but:

Trump argued against Syrian involvement in 2013 tweets - The Boston Globe

Trump's explanation for his old tweets ("gotta be flexible") leave much to be desired.

Hannity is not a "reporter" at all, objective or not.

Trump = Reagan
Trump ≠ Bush

His response to WMDs used on babies in Syria was spot on. God bless him. He did good, and there is no chance he'll become Bush and get into similar messes. He's way too smart for that.

Are we seriously comparing Obama/Syria to Trump/Syria?

Obama waited 10 days before asking Congress for approval. Congress was decidedly against Obama; so Obama asked Congress, knowing full well they would oppose anything he proposed; so obviously Obama was looking for the "Congress said no" excuse. In the meantime, Syria promised to stop using chemical weapons; Obama said, "oh, well then, okay, no need to follow through."

If Trump had waited, he would be seen as inactive. If he had asked permission, he most likely would have been told no, and he would have been able to blame Congress. If he had asked, Syria most likely would have said, "sorry, we won't do that again"; and Trump could have said "oh, well then, okay, no need to follow through."

Instead, Trump followed the notification process like he should have, and acted. Syria is sitting back saying, "wait, he actually did that, and we didn't get a chance to say 'our bad; won't happen again.'" And now they're wondering if Russia is gonna step in for them, or what they should do next.

I'm not a Trump fan; but I think he did absolutely the right thing. Hannity, Levin, the rest of the conservative, and especially the liberal, radio/TV clowns - (roll eyes) Whatever, dudes.

People keep asking "what next?" Answer: Nothing. The next step is on Syria. They can either step back and straighten up; or, if they decide to up the ante, *then* Trump needs to talk to Congress about what we're gonna do next.
