I see nothing conclusive on the site you referenced for the gun and ammunition in this case. It's just more speculation. If there'd been a crime then testing would have been done with the specific gun and ammunition involved by the responsible authorities. That wasn't done because this was just a hunting accident and the statements of those present were enough to make it clear what happened.
