Yeah, that is all a recent measurement. How does what it is doing today prove that it was doing millions and millions of years ago? Do you have a chain of custody on the evidence?

We know from Mt. Saint Helens that the measurements are inaccurate because new rocks were given to various labs and the analysis was returned as millions and millions of years for fresh rocks. However, that problem had existed for many years from other volcanoes but this involved an American volcano and got a little more publicity.
You and I have only the witness of others.

I believe the Biblical flood, as I believe you certainly do. By either you or I being wrong about it is not going to make God's word on it void.

There has been scientific problems with radiometric dating for years but old earthers just want to ignore it because deep time is necessary for Darwin to be true, which it isn't.

What evidence do you have the Bible is God's word?

Do you believe it is not?

I'm asking a question. It is easy to attack evolutionists and say they don't have evidence for every idea they have. Creationists have to answer the same type of question about their beliefs or they have little ground to stand upon.

The most important is what evidence is there God wrote the Bible?

For the rate of decay to change the physical laws of the universe would have to change. What evidence is there this ever happened?

Do you just make these rules up? You have no idea what the rate of decay was before it was measured in the modern era. The Genesis Flood was not a peaceful flood but a catastrophic event that caused the continents to form, for example.

The rate of decay has been measured from extraterrestrial sources such as the Moon. Unless you think the alleged global flood also covered the moon, your argument is nonsense.

So you are saying that the rate of decay on the moon is the same as the earth and therefore that proves that the rate of decay on the earth is unchanged? The problem is that you do not know what the rate of decay was in the past from a scientific viewpoint because you have no scientific evidence from the past.

It's not a red herring. He's trying to find out your presuppositions. Do you believe that God wrote the Bible? If yes, fine. If not then that's another situation.
It is bizarre that you think answering a question with a question, then wondering why I don't respond to that question says a lot. Especially when your question is a red herring.

First, we have the internal witness of books in the Bible claiming to be the words from God.

Secondly, we have history, of the Hebrews, and that they still exist, as opposed to other ancient cultures which have since ceased.

There is a pophecy in Daniel which says their temple would be desroyed after their Anointed/Messiah is killed. Daniel 9:26. ". . . Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary . . . ."

In the first century, Christianity came into being according to the Hebrew Bible prophey, Jeremiah 31:31-34.

Judaism is founded on the first 5 books of the Hebrew Bible and the rites required by their God and the Law written in those first 5 books.

So either their God has failed them, or Jesus of Nazareth is that Messiah/Christ who died and rose from the dead as the Christian New Testament testified.

Now there is what is called the gospel of grace taught in the Christian New Testament. Those who believe that Jesus is the Christ (Isaiah 53:1-12), come to actually know God Himself and so have eternal life now with the future hope of immortality (Romans 8:23).

Now I left much out. But by knowing God through Christ is one of the personal evidences that genuine Christians have (Note some of Jesus' arguments, John 5:46-47; John 7:17; John 8:47; John 18:37).
