Seige of Jerusalem in 70 AD

I just found something fascinating on YouTube, it is a documentary on the battle for Jerusalem and the destruction of the 2nd temple, Jesus spoke of this and prophesied during his ministry on the earth-
“And Jesus went out from the temple, and was going on his way; and his disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple. But he answered and said unto them, ‘You see all of these things, do you not? Truly I say unto you, there shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down’” (Matthew 24:1-2)
In this video the Roman general Titus and 60 thousand Roman troops lays siege to Jerusalem in the year 70 AD and eventually sacked the city and burns down the 2nd temple, thus fulfilling the words spoken by Jesus! This is an awesome history lesson and you can see the words of Christ come to pass, you might want to take a look at it, only 15 minutes!

First of all David welcome to the Baptist Board... I looked at both videos you posted and the building of Herod's Temple was very interesting but I was more interested in the destruction of it because Jesus tells us in the 24th Chapter of Matthew what was going to happen and why... Not just verses one and two... ALL OF IT!... Jesus said it, Matthew penned it down and Josephus confirmed it... For those brethren who think this refers to the second coming, instead of divine judgement against those who crucified Jesus Christ, look no further than Matthew 25:31, where he judges all mankind not just Jews... For those who have an opened mind, take a listen to what one of our Baptist preachers have to say about Matthew 24... Brother Glen:)

Mathew 24 can not be all over and done by 70 AD , the gospel was not yet preached to all nations by 70AD. Far east Asia, Africa, The Russian north, England, Northern Europe etc... other island areas and The Americas had no preaching yet at that time.
It is a combined message of destruction for Jerusalem and the end of the age when Christ returns in the future.
Matthew 24 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
