Hi guys, just curious about the sermons that seem to have a greater interest for the members here. Is there a topic you feel you don't hear enough about, or perhaps not at all?

God bless.

No question about it, I'd love to have heard this one:

27 And beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he interpreted to them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. Lu 24

LOL!

Good one, KYR. Me too. But, just think, one day we will have that chance.

God bless.

The gospel of Christ. God has blessed me with attending a fellowship where the gospel is always the focus and always preached in every sermon and every Bible study, and the righteousness of God is declared.

The whole council of God, line up line, precept upon percept instead of the same message every Sunday stated in a different way.

Usually it is Sunday School where the Word is taught in more detail. The Sunday Morning Sermon, in my view, should just have one message: Christ crucified. Because this is the hour we have invited folks to, and I have had more than one occasion when unbelieving guests visit and the Gospel is not preached.

But I understand the sentiment (I think): for me, I want to be taught something new, or have something pointed out that demands study.

The goal of the OP was more concerning direct topics. Myself, I am always thrilled when a message is eschatological. Sermons on particular doctrines are always appreciated, as well.

God bless.

Well first of all if I heard the sermon kyredneck said, I know I would be on the edge of my seat... Now the sermon I don't want to hear, is the one that will do me the most good, where the preacher starts stepping on toes... Telling me I must be up and about my Fathers business... The ones that convict are the ones that help... Unless we forget... There's a constant warfare... Like Spurgeon said... The church is a hospital for sinners... Brother Glen:)
