Sessions came under fire on Thursday over the revelation that he had met with the Russian ambassador, Sergei Kislyak, at the convention and again in Washington during Trump's campaign. He has announced, in the wake of the controversy, that he would recuse himself from any inquiry related to the 2016 presidential campaign. The White House has defended Sessions's meetings—and his failure to disclose them during his confirmation hearing—by claiming that the meetings happened in his capacity as a senator, not as a member of Trump's campaign.

Main point is that, with some exceptions granted, the criticism against Obama were policy concerns, not just some off the wall chatter spewed out hoping somthing would stick - like 95% of the bilge against Trump!!

That is an unproveable assumption. We do not know what he and the Russians said and agreed to and we do not know everything he did or did not do.
