Very fitting. Very funny. This is part of the comedy in the tragic-comedy we are entering in the Trump era.

I wonder how long it is going to take Trump voters who are not apologists to realize that they have been had and voted against their own principles and self-interests?

What a shame. Most likely because she is a woman. To be fair to Trump he most likely doesn't know the difference. Still he could have picked someone much better. Franklin Graham perhaps.

May be; we've YET to actually know.

BUT, seems a bit comical that the tolerant(?) --- who is still bowing to the "HALO" clad royal purveyor of "HOPE AND CHANGE" that has lied to us for 8 years --- is the one making such a claim.

Supposedly, she led him to the Lord.

Yes a poor choice - but does anyone think that when she prays she will publicly curse America and ask God to condemn America in a blasphemy as did Obama's pastor of almost 20 years.

Did Rev. Wright do that at the inauguration? No.

Really, this defense of Trump that requires digging into Obama's past is tiresome. The action stands and/or falls on its own. Inviting a prosperity gospel adherent that denies the Trinity to pray at your inauguration is an action that is indefensible. She is Trump's advisor on spiritual matters? Give me a break...

Lol. And Rick Warren was . . . better?

This constant moral relativism and situational ethics used to rationalize whatever Trump does as being acceptable is pathetic.

"But...but.... Hillary."
"But...but....Obama."

Basically one step up from "Did too!" "Did Not!" "I'm tellin' Mom!"

She is a prominent church leader. I doubt Trump knows much more about her than that. Let's not make more of this than that.

Hi BB,
what is the purpose of this interesting video anyway?
Just to show that she is well outside orthodox Christendom.

This is essentially "New Thought" dressed up in Christian robes. FWIW, "New Thought" was the movement that founded "Christian Science", "Unity" and other non-Christian cults.

When Trump talks about being a Christian, this is within the realm of Christianity for him. The poor man has been misled. I do not condemn him for it, but I have to take anything he says about Christianity with the understanding that he may well be talking about this sort of thing.

I agree. It is relevant in the sense that Trump seems to be ignorant of the basic doctrine of Christianity. I don't think we should take the video and necessarily claim that Trump believes this doctrine. She is a well-known and "successful" preacher, and he likes the outward trappings of success.

Has Paula White ever publicly cursed America with a blasphemy? I think not.
Look, I am not defending Trump.
FWIW I personally called him down right here on BB for several things and will continue to do so though I generally support him.

I am calling folks down for being duplicitous and inconsistent, complaining about one individual in a PILE-ON but hugs and kisses for the one of whom they are devotees. One who supports child murder and had a pastor who publicly blasphemes and curses America.

More fake news?

What should be believed about Paula White - this from her own website or what?

The Trinity
We believe in one true God who exists eternally in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We also believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who was sent to this earth to redeem humanity from sin. He was crucified, buried, resurrected, ascended to heaven, and is coming again

Not that it really matters but I'm not going into the details again except for one sentence - The lesser of two evils.

Sounds to me like she's a trinitarian but I don't like her anyways - the entire gospel of prosperity is a turn-off and she has married multiple times just like Trump has. There is something fake about her, I think her awful childhood really messed her up.

And her going to the Inauguration is no big surprise, Trump and her have been good friends for years. She is just one of six:

Donald Trump's inaugural committee announced Wednesday six faith leaders who will participate in the swearing-in ceremony of the President-elect.

Archbishop of New York Cardinal Timothy Michael Dolan; Reverend Dr. Samuel Rodriguez, president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference; and Paula White, pastor of New Destiny Christian Center will offer readings and give the invocation.

Rabbi Marvin Hier, dean and founder of the Simon Wiesenthal Center; Rev. Franklin Graham, president of Samaritan's Purse and president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association; and Bishop Wayne T. Jackson, senior pastor of Great Faith Ministries International will also offer readings and give the benediction.
