There was a time when I got tired of a few arm chair theologians in a church I was pastoring. So I decided I would give a message straight from Jesus, without telling anyone. After the service those men came up to me accusing me of preaching a shallow sermon. Then I asked them to turn to a particular passage. They did not say one more word.
