Like most men my age, I served, I got a letter, but I didn't wait, I went right on in. Was I correct, I believe so, but each would have to pray about it. If I didn't believe I was correct, I would have found a place where I could back the country, while trying to follow God.
Their were many who didn't want us to enter WW2, I recall the marches in the 50's saying better red than dead and on down through our history. In the OT the Israelis would have been hurting if they hadn't fought for what God had given them. To bad they didn't keep the fight up and they might have got all God had for them and kept it.
