T2U, I will ask a question that has already been asked.

Would it be better if a couple had 10 kids and couldn't afford to feed or take care of them?

Would that be O.K.? Would that make you feel better?

I applaud Diane(and her husband) for stopping the flow, when they knew they had all they could handle comfortably.

I have seen you use this attempt to smear the Catholic faith by the actions of one "boy" and his family a few times. Isn't this pettiness a little beneath you Diane. I have Baptist and Catholic relatives who have done equally evil deeds what is your point.

While your actions after your daughter's pregnancy were a model of christian love and charity. Have you considered your actions prior to the pregnancy.

In the thread that was moved/deleted you said something to the effect that normal *** is not necessarily *** that is open to life (potentially procreative). Thus what you are promoting now and I assume what you taught in your home was that contraceptive/infertile *** for the sake of pleasure is just fine, (I assume you at least qualified it by saying you should wait till marriage.)

This however is a warped view of sexuality to many of our children are learning. For men it teaches them that is ok to look as a women as an object rather than as a person. Thus a women can be viewed as tool you can use for the primary purpose of receiving pleasure.

Boys should be taught that each act, is a renewal of your marriage vows were you are making a commitment to God that you desire to be ONE with this woman and that you love her so much that you want her to be the mother of your children if it is the will of God, without whom no soul can be created.

This is the primary purpose of our ***uality and fertility, the unitive and procreative. The pleasure we receive from our ***uality is a benefit not the purpose of our ***uality.

Teaching our children otherwise, is to teach them a perversion that is no better than teaching them that homosexuality is ok. An unnatural act designed primarily to seek pleasues of the flesh, it has no legitimate purpose like contraceptive ***.

Girls should be taught the same from a women's perspective.

I am truly sorry if this causes you any pain, but all parents should consider what, if any, message their own ***uality teaches their children. Certainly this boy's parents did not even teach him the basics of the Catholic faith.

I hope they are not going to make it mandatory.

 

I'm closing this thread as it is NOT a birth control thread, and the same wording that causes pornographic ads to show up is being used, and also doesn't need to be used on a family friendly board.
That previous thread was NOT deleted, as I have said a number of times, and will either be replaced or placed in private forums. It takes more than such a short period of time to ensure that all of the moderating/admin team sees and reacts to a thread in that forum.
