Should Christians pray for Putin?

If he truly believes Jesus is risen, and confessed that with his mouth, most Baptists believe him saved. (Salty said no C&A so can't go a lot deeper into that)
Many conservative Christians imagine Trump is saved, so take that with a grain of salt and throw it over your right shoulder.

I don't know if he is or not. He says he is. I guess Trump is about as saved as half the people who are members of Baptist Churches. If we use Billy Graham's numbers, a lot more than that are lost.

Do tell the entire story. The problem is political, not theological.
As someone who has been involved with the Russian-speaking Evangelical Christian-Baptists (in particular the Council of Evangelical Christian-Baptist Churches aka the underground/unregistered churches) The problem is theological. The closest can get is Franco as a devout Roman Catholic.

Yes, we should pray for his salvation. As @Reynolds pointed out he may already be Saved as per his stand against trannie/LGB/critical race junk.

He is either:
1. A Traditionalist, similar to many on the "right" in the U.S that claim Conservative/Judeo-Christian ethics yet aren't saved.
OR
2. A born-again Christian that is in sin with his discrimination of other orthodox, non-heretical Christian denominations.

This is not the barometer of salvation. Does he proclaim Christ? Does he speak Christ? Does he confess Christ? I have never heard him do so. All I have been able to find so far is when he was asked a few years ago about there being a supreme God he said because of his official position he shouldn't answer questions like that. If he was a Christian, why would he hide from that answer?

Bearing fruit of the spirit, of which his anti-CRT stuff is, is certainly part of the barometer of salvation.

Who knows if he is saved? Has anyone asked him directly who Jesus is? I'm not aware of that question being posed. All I can see is that he does attend service, which at the very least makes it plausible. He seems to want to be viewed as a Christian. If that's political positioning or something deeper, who knows?

So Putin is for a state Church. Is he anti-Baptist or is he, Anti Christian?
He is anti anybody or anything that isn't Russian Orthodox. It goes to the identity of what in his mind is Russian. Thirty-plus years ago the family I would be marrying into came to San Francisco as religious refugees. They went to County Social Services. Who referred them to the Jewish Welfare Agency and the Russian Welfare Association. As my not-yet-in-laws only spoke Russian at the time. Jewish Welfare said sorry you're not Jewish we can't help you. The Russian Association is part of Holy Virgin ROC Cathedral. They said "If you're not Orthodox, are you sure you're Russian?"

Not according to Voddie Baucham and his book "Faultlines". CRT is an altogether different gospel. I have more in common with Putin than David Platt and other CRT apologists.
This is sad. Your ignorance leads you to have more in common with an antichrist than with a brother in Christ, by your own declaration.
I have read faultlines so I am familiar with and mostly in agreement with Baucham, but I will tell you that Baucham would warmly embrace his brother, David Platt, while denouncing an antichrist like Putin.

He has ordered the mass killing of civilian Ukrainians. Your answer is found in that order.

The problem is spiritual. Putin is a Machiavellian Tzar who does what is expedient to gain the favor of others. He has been systematically marginalizing non Orthodox persons in Russia. The Baptist believers are preparing the structures to once again worship underground in Russia.
The Russian Orthodox church is acting like the medieval church in Rome, crushing all who oppose it.
