Considering the hoopla over the school in New York having students recite the pledge in Arabic, it got me thinking, should Christians recite the pledge? Is it a form of idolatry or just something a good citizen should do?

Is the marriage vow a form of idolatry?
One is promising to be faithful in each.
Idolatry....what garage will they come up with next to be Anti-American
so would it be hypocritical for them to accept services from those who are required to make an oath? Like soldiers, police officers, doctors, etc...Look for the religious left to join their equals the Jehovah's Witnesses in refusing to pledge allegiance or salute the American flag.

If instead of allegiance the word deference or respect were to be used, would that make a difference for those saying no, to reciting the pledge.
For those saying yes, how far does your allegiance go?
