So we wait for Putin to attack NATO countries?
He wants a buffer. Putin was being pushed into a corner. The time for troops in Ukraine was pre invasion. Post invasion is too late. Joe screwed this up like he does everything else.

We are doing a good job of it sending weapons in. There should be no barriers to those who want to go over as Baron von Steubens.

The unfortunate reality is that although no one wants to be drawn into this war I think as the reality that he is loosing dawns on Putin he will do something so dumb as to force NATO to step in.

If Putin is put in a position of losing, due to NATO intervention, He will do something that the western thinker deems stupid but he deems strategical to him. China will not let their only true ally go down. As bad as it may sound, the opportunity to stop Russia taking Ukraine, without starting WW3, ended the day Putin invaded. Sending NATO troops in now would be an act of war by NATO against Russia. If NATO wanted to protect Ukraine, troops should have been on ground prior to Russian invasion. Putin would not have attacked NATO troops.

Seems there are basically two thoughts on Putin:
1 - Push him into a corner & he will go chemical/nukes!
2 - Leave him alone and he will continue to take more territory UNTIL he is stopped!

Which is more likely?? Many who are much wiser than me in human nature claim one or the other.

Either choice will/can lead to WWIII, but does that make common sense to delay doing SOMETHING??
If I had a choice, I would go down fighting rather than just sitting back until the decision is made by Putin when (????) to cease & desist!!

However if you are comfortable letting evil run rampant until it runs its course, then fine with me - it's your choice!!

Trusting Him to let the situation unfold according to His will!!!

My rule of thumb is that I will not be for any war that I wouldn't serve in myself.

Do I want to lay my life down to stop a European war? Heck no! My family fled Europe is the 1600s for a good reason and I have 0 interest in getting involved there.

Not a worthy cause IMO, especially since nowadays our soldiers will be riding into battle on rainbow battle tanks while kissing each other.

Here comes the U.S to lay down the moral law to Russia! LOL

The way Putin has talked, often contrasted with what he then does, convinces me that he would use the presence of NATO troops in Ukraine as rationale for introducing WMDs, whether those troops arrived before or after Russia invaded.

How does one fight a country with 11 time zones within its borders and the fight somehow not go nuclear?

If Ukraine is worth turning the globe into a blob of radioactive dust, then sure, go for it.

As for me, I'd rather they take Donbas and Luhansk, extract a promise for Ukraine to stay out of NATO, and maybe the world can be at least a little less crazy for all of five minutes. Heaven knows we've been pressure cooked but good the last few years.

The Pres just told troops from the 82nd Airborne they would “see for themselves” the horror Putin has done in Ukraine “when you get there”.

Sounds like he’s planning on sending troops to Ukraine.

peace to you

the Biden Crime family needs to cover up their deeds
