You may disagree with the conclusion

whether I agree or not is irrelevant. The truth is what matters and the truth is this virus does NOT warrant the response its been given. I wasn't the first to realize this, but I was blessed with revelation before the 5th month of it. On the contrary the cv vaxes do not warrant the credit they've been given; semi-annual shots to combat a virus with a <1% untreated mortality rate.

You continue to spin ever harder ... but the truth is constant, consistent and needs no spin.

Those in the opinion, across political lines, have already made that decision

But at least you agree it's mostly a political issue and almost nothing about public health.

The truth is you believe the virus does not warrant the response given. My opinion is it does warrant the response given.

Over 5 million people have died worldwide of covid, over 700k in the US. We also have to consider the short and long term effects of the virus (many survivors suffer heart and respiratory issues from the virus....among other lasting health effects).

But our opinions do not matter. The fact is those in the position to make the decisions have concluded covid warranted the response. You disagree with them. I agree with them.

But our opinions do not matter.

the way in which we portray them, does.

you apparently see no problem with collusion between big biz and big govt ... they are the reason the need for labor unions remain (though at the upper levels the corruption there is clear, too, but that doesn't invalidate the need for everyman's liars and thieves to meet big biz/big govt liars and thieves. but I digress.

For those who have consideration, it may be wise to just stop and wind the watch for a second rather than jumping aboard the "get the shot" yacht.

Those numbers you like to repeat ... not really accurate ... to the extent the death rate has been alarming is directly resulting from the decision to expose the susceptible and to refuse legitimate treatments at the onset of symptoms.

I just worked with a guy who recovered from CV two weeks ago. His doc literally told him to go home ... with nothing prescribed. yet Jan '20 (his testimony) he had an "unexplained respiratory ailment" for which he was loaded-up on meds.

Isn't that interesting. His is hardly the only case of this "laissez-faire" treatment protocol.

I disagree that there is collusion between the government and what you call "big pharm". The reason I disagree is there is no evidence of collusion.

Trump removed red tape in vacvine development with "Operation Warp Speed", the Trump Administration funded a lot of research (to include research that did not pan out), but this is not collusion. The government did its job. The scientists did their job. The pharmaceutical companies did their job.

You are speaking conspiracy theories and hidden agendas (collusion) that do not exist.

Wrong.

You may disagree with the conclusion that vovid is a workplace hazard or that the vaccines are safe and effective. I wholeheartedly support your right to voice that opinion. But you are not the deciding factor. You are not in a position to make that call for the nation. Those in the opinion, across political lines, have already made that decision.

Trump and Biden agree that covid is a national danger. Both agree the vaccines are safe and effective. Apolitical agencies under both administration's came to that conclusion.
So what… my body, my decision

As far as the vaccine goes, yes.

You should reject the vaccine if that is what you want. But I should be able to take the vaccine if that is what I want.
I wouldn’t stand in your way nor would I even attempt to convince you otherwise. It’s just forcing someone to take them that I can’t stand.

Jon ... I'm telling you big biz and big government have been in cahoots for years. Not just the pharmas, but certainly includes 'em. Who do you think wrote all the regulations? Certainly wasn't those geniuses in Congress.

You can disagree all you want, but you demonstrate the ostrich phenomena. Govt knows it's restricted by the Constitution ... but as you so vehemently advocate ... not a private business. Evidently not even a publicly owned private business ... EG ... NGO. There's something rotten when we treat Nike the same as Lou's Shoe Shop on 5th street. It's called big biz/big govt collusion.

*Big Biz

ever heard of a Boeing 737 Max?

The FAA's charter literally makes it "a business partner in aviation." ???? it's the controlling authority of our airspace, certification of airmen, and allegedly enforcer of standards. But in reality, it's paid-off by the big companies. Those maintenance fines are because "I need a victory too" (Clear and Present Danger movie based on Tom Clancy's book) ... those fines are hardly slaps on the wrist.

Do you really believe the government agencies regulating these sectors have the best/brightest? I mean, look at Fauci as a relevant example. If he was 1/2 as smart and 1/10th as wise as he thinks he is, he'd not have been stuck in a govt job for 40 years. But he's the one who authorized the taxpayer's support of the Wuhan Lab's "gain of function" which has brought us the boogey man virus. Designed to disrupt. Has it disrupted? Seems like these days all ya need is a suggestion the media will support and the rest of it is manufactured.

the truth is stranger than fiction.

I agree. I hope we never get to the point where we force people to take a vaccination or we strip the freedom of a man to require one for the business he owns.

I know you are telling me that. And I know insofar as politics goes they are like oil companies. But with this case you are wrong.

They should. The federal government does not have the authority (IMHO) to require businesses with 100+ to vaccinate or test.

What do you think those businesses will now do?

Mandate
or
Not mandate

Depends on what the courts decide, but it should still be up to the business.

Today those who were not vaccinated at my work were put on unpaid leave. If they do not get a vaccine by the 30th they will be terminated (if they do they will come back once fully vaccinated). But over 97% are vaccinated and losses were anticipated.

You seem a bit paranoid. Are you going to be okay? Would you consider staying away from fruitless websites as a way of de-stressing?
5 vials labeled ‘Smallpox’ found in lab near Philadelphia…
Well, well, well……like Rush used to say…….don’t doubt me.

And there’s more:
