Sidenote: I'm not going to be at Worthy forums anymore because there just isn't any room there for civil discussion between people who disagree. I've seen people accused of having TDS when they obviously do not. But most of all, I was called a liar today. That was the last straw. Besides, it's cliquish there and I'm not in the clique.

No, she shouldn’t have been fired. If she was a liberal Christian who condoned the LGBTQ+ agenda, she wouldn’t have been fired.

The issue with her firing is she was asked of her beliefs. Apparently what is expected is for one to toe the line rather than speak truthfully.

Depending on the context, I could see how all involved in the conversation could justly be terminated (a policy prohibiting such discussions at work, for example).

A coworker wore a "Pride ally" t-shirt yesterday. That was fine (although if somebody pushed it, this would change).

But if I wore a "He created them male and female" shirt somebody would make an issue of it.


Like you said, this is the world. It is expected.
