Should You Earn M.Div Before or After Ordination?

My church has four pastors and all are ordained and educated. I categorically WOULD NOT be a member of a church where its pastors are not formally educated. IMO, a person should be earned the M Div prior to ordination.


Besides, those academic hoods look really great with the pastor's robes on Sunday morning
