We have Amazon, Visa, and MC on which we charge most "stuff". How do we pay that monthly statement if not with a check?

No way do I want those to debit my bank account.

Just got license plate renewal for December. I can pay in person at DMV ($5 counter fee) or credit card ($3.50 service fee) or send a check (stamp). Writing the check tonight.

I actually have everything drafted. That way I do not have to bother with it (but they have my bank info).

I pay many of my bills on-line - BUT never with automatic draft - I authorize the amount every month.
In addition, I round up my payment to the next $5.00. So if my electric bill is 77.66 - I pay $80. Makes it much easier to balance my checkbook!
