What you have done here is against the rules--name-calling.
Yes it is against the rules to question the salvation of any brother.
Go back and read the rules which you agreed to abide by. If you don't want to abide by them go somewhere else. If you refuse to abide them, you will find yourself going somewhere else anyway.

Is it sin to go five mph over the speed limit, or can you do that "in faith" that you are not in sin?

And as Romans 1 points out "they are without excuse" who run long into transgression because "The invisible attributes of God are clearly seen in the things that have been made". Their sin remains.

I would say it is a sin.. I believe the Bible says so to.:wavey:

Take a woman wearing pants to church.. if that woman believes it is a sin, she should not wear them... It is her standard, and she should stick to her standards...

but she should not declare it to be a sin if another sister wears them...since it all depends on the interpretation of scriptures dealing with modesty.

Take Alcohol for example... For me to drink it would be a sin...Call it the culture I grew up in, or what ever, I would feel guilty for drinking it...
So for that reason, I don't even buy the jack daniels bbq sauce because I feel guilty...

But if a brother wants to use the bbq sauce and they have no problem, I am not going to tell them it is a sin...

I was given this advice be a loving pastor years ago. “Others may but I cannot.” That is the position I try to take on matters that as you say are not clearly defined in Scripture as sin. It is always in order to set a good example for others by the things we allow or disallow. “May our light so shine before men……..”

I once heard J. Fletcher lecture on situatuion ethics. It made me furious! Sin is NEVER okay! It is against God's law. Never!

Is it a sin to call a brother or sister in Christ unsaved?
Is it sin for one to bad mouth the very board that one is a guest at?
Is it a sin to blatantly break the rules of the board one is a guest at?
Is is a sin to call others names?

Is it a sin to say that somene is "choosing to have faith in Atheist darwinism" instead of simply saying "faith in another valid option for Christians to choose"?

It is it a sin to say that someone is "being led by man-made tradition regarding prayers to the dead" instead of saying "being led by Godly Christian leaders to believe in a technically less correct idea of prayer"??

In other words - can we do both? Can we avoid the ad hominem pejorative terms about the person that you mentioned above - and yet STILL identify the significant level of problem that a given doctrinal error poses?
