SIX SEALS AND DISASTERS
Revelation 6.1-17
The disasters unleashed after each broken seal very much self-explainable, wars, crime, bloodshed, diseases, famines, and so on, all of which did happened in the past, happening now, and will happen in the future.
The verses 9-11 perhaps the most interesting verses in this chapter because it depicts Spiritual World in which we can see the Altar of GOD in Heaven, and the most amazing of all that the souls of slain for the Word of Christ and His Testimony "cried out with a loud voice, " to GOD. (see also Revelation 20.4).
Why these souls of saints under the Altar of GOD? Because the Altar symbolize the sacrifice they did giving their lives for Christ, as the Christ did for them.
These souls of slain saints for the Name of Christ asking GOD why He is delaying with retribution on those who killed them. But as always, the Lord knows the right and appropriate time for everything, for His Justice on the wicked and ungodly.
To each of these saints were given a white robe that symbolizes purity and holiness, and it had told them to wait a little bit longer until the number of slain for the Name of Christ will reach its appropriate number.
The opening of the Sixth Seal (12-14) reveals the set of different "natural" disasters what will come on all residents of the Earth, on a global scale, all of which people also experienced in the past, we have today and will have in the future.
~ 12-14. Nature's Disasters: (Isaiah 13.10, 34.4) (Ezekiel 32.7-8) (Joel 2.10.31, 3.15) (Matthew 24.29) (Mark 13.24-25) (Revelation 6.12-13).
The result of such calamities is described in verses 15-17. People will flee to the places they thought to be safe to hide from the Wrath of GOD. In verse 17 John call it as, "the Great Day of Their Wrath."
John calls the Lord not as in a single GOD but as the Multiple, using word "Their." This reference to GOD always means the GOD Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and Their Holy Spirit, all Three in One and One in all Three.
~ 17. *"Us - Our - We - Their" (Genesis 1.26, 3.5.22, 11.7, 18.1-9.22) (Isaiah 6.8, 41.22-26) (Revelation 6.17).
