So, still think President Obama is a closet Muslim...

...who is soft on terrorists and wants them to win.

After Osama Bin Laden was killed on his watch and after he saw the war on terror more important than the constitution when he targeted Anwar al-Awlaki for death can it still be said that he is soft on Muslim terrorists?

You'll need to do a search of the archives here - it was all the rage 2-3 years ago. Those who I am asking will know who they are - even if they don't respond.

A few other possibilities come to mind (not that I believe any of them)...

Obama is more worried about his reelection than his sympathetic beliefs about Muslim terrorists.

Obama supports Islamic facism in his heart but disagrees with the terrorists methods.

Obams is an irrational meglomanic.

Don't fool yourself, Roger!!!

Reelection time is right around the corner and the killing of the one lone terrorist will be fuel just as well as gasoline prices easeing off a bit here in the states(to which he will take the glory, no doubt)----down a quarter or so in the last couiple of months----noticeable for an affirmative vote in his direction

Don't fool yourself!!!

Whether he is or isn't will never be settled unless he flat out affirms it. The Quran (Suran 9 specifically) allows a muslim to act like an "infidel" and pretend to not be a muslim in order to further Islam.

I really don't know if he is a Muslim or not. I never thot that he wanted the terrorists to win.

I think what the President wants is to be re-elected and to get and keep power. If he has to kill bin Ladin or ignore the constitution, to be re-elected, he will.

I think he has read and accepted "The Prince" by Machiavelli in which the author says that whatever a leader has to do to keep power, he should do.

Yes, I do

What does killing two terrorists prove about Obama? Absolutely nothing.

Haven't different factions of Muslims been at war for hundreds of years?

What about Iraq and Iran? Two Muslim countries that hate each other?

Perhaps these terrorists belong to a faction of Muslims that Obama hates.

Besides that, and I don't claim to know the exact differences, the Muslims in the black African countries don't seem to be targeting Isreal and the US like the Arab Muslim countries are. Does anyone here know more about this? Is is there really a difference between the black Muslim countries and the Arab ones?

Even if Obama was a outwardly practicing Muslim from Kenya, is it likely he would support the death of Isreal and the attacks on America? I don't think so.

I don't see how killing the terrorists proves anything about Obama's faith.

Agreed. Personally, I doubt he's a Muslim. I also doubt he's a Christian.

I am no fan of Obama, but the guy is not an idiot. Although I believe he is very sympathetic toward Muslims (how can he not be?), he has many counselors both military and non-military who have probably shown him facts he did not know, and how some Muslim groups are planning to kill innocent Americans and others. I am sure he realizes that some of these fanatical and militant groups must be dealt with.

And sure, he is a politician who knows this scores him political points and buys him votes. He needs to display competence. That's OK, we need that. We want to believe the President can deal with threats to our security.

His swing toward Israel in his UN speech shows his political side, he was slumping with Jews who voted for him and were big contributors. Now, this is where I am not so sure he is sincere. If he were to be re-elected, I think you might see him swing against Israel again. Right now he needs the Jews, and he knows it.

Actually, killing these terrorists is the only thing he has done well. He can't stop now.

He's like most Presidents, they want to please everyone so they will not say anything to offend a religion (votes)--

In the past few months someone here on the BB characterized President Obama as being a chameleon. I'm with SolaSaint. Obama is going to do and say and be whatever is politically expedient. Personally, I think he's more of a sleazy snake in the grass than a Muslim or a Christian.

In other words, he's a politician. What do you expect?

And that's why our founding fathers intended to keep the federal government small, and with limited authority. Too bad we've gotten away from that.

Means nothing.

The one thing muslims are really good at is killing each other...for all kinds of reasons.
