Dr Rogers has a great sermon on Gen 24 where Abraham sends Eleazer, his eldest servant, to the land of his fathers to find a bride for Isaac. This is the parallel under which, as an "ensample," we in the NT are to learn the activity of the Spirit in finding Christ a "bride," His church and each member thereof.Isaiah40:28 said:So what is the role ... of the Holy Spirit in man's salvation?
