They may get cancelled. Falwell does not play games. I would laugh my rear end off if when they sent in their diploma, he cleared them from the system. It's what's expected from the snowflake generation. An absolutely meaningless gesture.
Wonder how many of them had all their educational credits at the university cancelled and removed from the records?

Those who are determined to return diplomas should enroll in another Bible college and get a new degree.
and by returning, Jerry Jr., really has no choice but to revoke their graduation!
Actually, the state of Virginia requires records of courses taken, grades given, and credits earned, be kept for 50 from date of graduation/withdraw.
So it would be illegal to cancel credits, etc.
All the grandstanders would have to do is request a copy of their degree and, after paying an administrative fee, a new copy would be provided. (One of mine was damaged and I sent for a new one. Cost me $100.)
( I assume you meant 50 years?)
Did not say that they would cancel credits - the school would just state they did not graduate ie: no diploma - (aka loophole)
And from that day on the school would be forbidden to ever offer a degree in Virginia again.the school would just state they did not graduate ie: no diploma -

Then Carpro is 100% correct. This is an empty gesture meaning absolutely nothing.
Uh, you are aware, are you not, that the LU endowment is well over a Billion dollars? (Yes, billion, with a B.)Not when Liberty sees donations from alumni go down.

That's OK. Universities never have enough. They will notice. If Jr. is anything like his dad it will speak loudly. You know a billion isn't what it used to be.
Years ago I was working in the company's Santa Ana office. One morning I was watching Jerry Falwell on TV as I got ready for work. His first five minutes was about how every minute on TV should count in giving the message of Christ to the world. Then he spent about 15 minutes begging for money and never mentioned Christ. That was when I realized what was really important to him. I had held him in pretty high regard up to that point.
What an opportunity to witness!!!
Makes me think of the example of a pre-teen who has grown up in a Christian home - is saved, baptised and becomes a great disciple.
then you consider the example of a drunk and ect of many years & comes to church - is saved, baptised and becomes a great disciple
Which is the greater miracle????
