For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he [Christ] was buried, and that he [Christ] rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Cor 15:3,4
I believe the above says The soul Christ died in a corruptible body for our sins, the soul Christ was buried in a corruptible body then Eph 4:9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? - Then - Acts 2:31 “he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that
His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption.
I believe the following is about the Christ:
It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 1 Cor 15:44
The soul Jesus the Christ died in a natural [soulish] body was buried, same and the soul Jesus the Christ was raised in a spiritual body, yet physical, with the soul of the flesh
not being in the blood; but in spirit.
V 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam
was made a quickening spirit.
This also is about Christ: V 46 Howbeit that
was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward [After resurrection] that which is spiritual.
I believe the reason for only 3 days
@Ben1445 is relative to nor did his flesh see corruption. From another thread.
