Sometimes an uplifting sermon can be used of the Spirit as a kick in the pants to get us off of our complacent butts.

It is more of a knock on your inconsistent theology. Those messages may very well be great. But match it with your theology.

1) It was a great movie... so absolutely!

2) It was just a meme!!! The movie itself wasn't being advertised!

I so detest IFB preaching. He couldn't make it 15 mins. in the first sermon w/out mention how great a scholar he is b/c he looked something up in Strong's concordance. And it was OT moralism as if the OT was simply there to give us examples of how to live moral lives. They point to Jesus!!!

This man is one of the most humble people I know, he is not trying to puff himself up for using a Greek definition to explain something... and this friend of mine points to Jesus Christ with just about everything he says.
