We need to remember that just about all other Division I-A football programs would have loved to have gone 12-1 and lost big time in the BCS Championship Game.

 

so anybody care to make any early guesses about who's gonna be in the BCS Championship game NEXT year???

or even better who's going to finish #1 when all is said and done??? will it be a shared or outright championship???

 

Will SC go wire to wire to take it all again???

Will Auburn stay ranked # 2 all year and end the season destroying SC for the ultimate vindication chanting "I told you so"???

Will VaTech be the spoiler for the both of them???

 

Whats the matter??? Afraid to guess???

As for the Sooners... I don't believe they're gonna be back for a "third shelacking" as you put it...

 

Besides... it's always been a 'mythical' national championship and it will always be... well, for a few decades more probably...

Will the Championship Game be #1 Wake Forest against #2 Temple? Ask all the questions you want at this stage. There's only 8 months, literally tons of weights to lift, spring practice and a summer of risk, sloth, crime, or a lot of other things players can make it. Trying to rate the teams at this point is like projecting the 2008 election.

ohhh... and just like most every other typical year in the not so distant past... even before next season actually begins... they'll be cranking out rankings... and maybe even some predictions, too...

 

Is William & Mary going to bolt 1AA Atlantic 10 (which has 12 teams)?

 

I predict that the BCS Championship Game next season will pit Southern Cal vs. Texas.
