HP: Untruths are argued every day but that makes them no less untruths.
What makes so many of these discussions so unfruitful is that often we are dealing with confessed liars ( like DHK who has never recanted his statement that all men are liars) who believe that when they sin or lie it has already been forgiven before they even commit the sin. It matters not what they say or do in the end, all has been forgiven apart from the fulfilling of the least of the conditions, repentance included…….or so they in their deception believe. I wonder if they state such beliefs on their applications for the jobs they hold? Hmmmmm.
1. Your denial of OSAS puts you in a state of continual confusion.
2. You cannot separate justification from sanctification.
3. Because of the above you cannot separate forgiveness of sins in respect to salvation, and forgiveness of sins in respect to sanctification or our walk with God.
4. A denial of OSAS leads to a works-based salvation.
5. You cannot accept the plain teaching of the Word of God in Romans 3:4 which plainly states "every man a liar." Which part of that verse do you not understand?
From all appearances, the only thing we can trust or believe is that they will keep on sinning and lying in the same manner as they do now, hardly a basis for trust or love. I would welcome some evidence that what I am saying is untrue.
The evidence is in your own life. In your own posts you have called me names, insulted me, lied about me, cast aspersions, etc. Is this Godly? Is it the fruit of the Spirit, or the works of the flesh? You tell me.
Anyway I slice it, the end results of such doctrinal positions is about as far from 'Sound Doctrine & Love' towards God and man as I could dream possible.
You don't live up to your own theology. Why should anyone believe you?
