Southern Baptist Megachurch Makes History Electing Woman to Pulpit

Ed, not trying to be difficult, but it seems you're saying that women pastors are biblical. If a woman pastors a church, under biblical rules she could only pastor the women as she would not be allowed to teach the men. She is not allowed to preach the sermon because she would teaching men. Are you suggesting a male and female both pastor a church?

Maybe I'm just dumb  ....no comments!, but I still don't see where it's biblical for a woman to pastor a church. A woman pastor who can't teach men doesn't make any sense to me.

:tonofbricks: <------doing it for you. :)

Ed I must take back what I said. I misunderstood your post. And I do as well see a difference between the gift and the office of Pastor. The greek word for Pastor is "Poimen" as I am sure you know and means a shepherd. I have seen and continue to see both men and women with a shepherds heart. I agree with you completely.

I'm other than the Ed mentioned above (though my
name is DOUBLE ED ;)

I've been married to two women, each had the spiritual gift of
Pastoring. Neither pastored men. Both ministered to women
with men present (one was a Church Pianist, the other a
Chruch Organist). As for teaching, it was done to women and
children only. I don't have the spiritual gift of pastoring.
I just know how to read and type and :praying:.
