Following the War Between the States, many Northern "Carpetbaggers" went South to take advantage of the Northern win.

Suppose the South had won the War of Aggression. Would Southerns have went to "occupy" the North? Would the CSA have imprisoned high ranking officials of the USA?

I don't think so. The South just wanted to be left alone.

I don't think so either. The South had no interest in controlling the other states for any reason.
