Spammer phone calls

I have been getting an excessive number of spam phone calls -
BUT I always answer them -
Usually, I like to have fun:

1) this phone call is being recorded - and I do need to confirm the # you are calling from
2) Why should I pay you for cable TV - as I sget 50 stations for free (yes, that is correct)
3) Why do I need car insurance - I have no vehicle

then if I am really busy - I just hang up.

Well, today, I got a phone call - I looked at my call ID
and it said "Spamer"

GOOD thing I answered - it was Joyce Spamer
She does bookings for Southern Gospel Music
and I am trying to get a Southern Gospel group up to the NY State Fair this year!

Remember - just dont assume anything.

I hate that phones label calls spammer. My number gets labeled that because I'm not in people's contact list (I work with Medicare benefits) and I can't tell you how many of my clients don't answer my calls on important matters because they think it is a spam call. I really don't think phones should do that.

I would prefer that all callers be identified. In this particular case, why could not the id of “MEDICARE” be displayed??
