Does your church have speaking in tongues, with interpreters?

I've seen this statement often on this board, (along with many other gifts) and I would like some scriptural backup for it.No. Biblical tongues have ceased.
We need a good tongues thread every few weeks or so just to stir things up. I expect DHK and Tamborine Lady to start posting any minute now...Originally posted by RightFromWrong:

Again all this has been discussed thoroughly already
Really? calling these misguided people "blabbering idiots" makes your post look sort of less than acceptable for logic.Originally posted by Trotter:
'Tongues', as practiced today in America, are nothing more than ecstatical gibberish and spiritual conterfeiting. People go off in 'tongues' to show how spiritual they are, and because it is expected of them.
True tongues (languages) are given by God for use in the Body. I do believe that these gifts of language are in use today, but not by all the blabbering idiots on Sunday Morning.
In Christ,

No, not in corporate worship or other church gatherings. However, we do have a few members who speak in tongues privately.Originally posted by SaggyWoman:
